We've had snow twice already, Friday and Monday. This is unheard of where we live! IF we get snow, it's usually in January. Our first snow lasted about two hours and then turned into rain. Those two hours of snow were in the morning right when busses run, so school was cancelled that day. On Monday, it was raining and then turned into snow around noon. School was cancelled after just a half day. It snowed for the rest of the day and into the night. We got about six inches. Unfortunately, the school district decided to make it a virtual learning day; meaning that the kids were on Zoom with their teachers like a regular school day, and that meant that we didn't get to go sledding this time.
The kids were only able to play in the snow Monday afternoon until it got dark. They had some epic snowball fights though.
We had to make snow ice cream!
Harrison took these pictures out his window the next morning. The snow was so pretty.
Leo walked out to measure Tuesday morning.
Virtual learning was painful, but we got through it. School as usual the next day. (Thank goodness!)
