June extras

Lots of extras in June including a soccer game with Leo's soccer teammate.

Jeff took Harrison to a baseball game.

He was given a foul ball.

One of Grace's friends had a "science" birthday party.

at the beach with friends

Grace wanted me to take a picture of her smelling the flowers.  It looks more like she's praying.

Jeff built Leo a panel to kick his soccer balls against.  He's proudly broken several of the boards with his powerful kicks.

cub & boy scout advancements

Harrison is now Arrow of Light and Leo is now a Webelo.

swim lessons and pool fun

Grace took swim lessons for the first time ever.  For two weeks she learned how to get comfortable in the water including floating and going completely under water.  Grace started out a little hesitant and stiff but her confidence grew with every lesson.

We're very proud of how much Grace has learned and how well she did in her lessons.  She feels like a real mermaid now!  And here's some more pictures from the two weeks the pool has been open.

Leo's diving board skills are always fun, including touching the bottom of the deep end, but this was the first time he'd swam this far underwater.

Harrison has also been taking his self-appointed title of junior lifeguard seriously.

He pretty much helps anywhere needed at the pool.

soccer camp

Our local soccer team puts on a camp every year as soon as school is out.  Leo couldn't wait for it.

His friend, Alex did this camp with him.

Coach Charlie was Leo's favorite instructor.  He's from London.

The kids all got free tickets to one of the clubs' games as part of the soccer camp package.

The kids got to meet all the players after the game.

Needless to say, soccer camp was a success and the soccer game was a lot of fun.  Leo was in his happy place at both.
