school stuff

Grace & Jeff had a special breakfast one morning at school.

How to be a good citizen:  pick up trash, be responsible, be kind, be safe.

We had Back to School Night for all the kids.  I went to Grace and Leo's.  Jeff went to Harrison's.  Grace's self-portrait was hanging up in her classroom.  "I love myself because gymnastics.  I'm good at dance.  I'm good flexible moves."  Her teacher had wonderful things to say about her.  And her beautiful school picture highlights how much she's growing and changing.

It is such a good feeling as a parent to hear that your children are doing well.  All of Harrison and Leo's teachers had high praise for the boys.  So far, this year is off to a great start!

AND, Grace's school fundraiser ended last week with GRACE raising more money than anyone else in the school!  All she wanted was the free keychain for sending the fundraising link to a minimum number of people.  Thanks to generous family members, Grace will get more than a keychain in a few weeks.

goodbye summer, hello fall

Grace met her friend at the water park for the very last trip there this year.

You know the seasons are changing when it gets darker earlier and you need headlights to play soccer.

Halloween decorations have started to appear.  Harrison always puts up Ghosty.

I had the kids tell me what they wanted to do this Fall.  We'll see how many things we are able to do.

family pictures

I wanted to get family pictures done while everything was still green.  There was a lot of complaining, but these gorgeous kids turned on the charm and gave us some wonderful pictures.  I am so happy with how they turned out!  Can you tell who had the most trouble posing?
