April extras inside

Grace loves to play dress up and to dress up Leo too.
Harrison's play date turned into a dinner date.

Harrison gravitates to every dog.
I got some cookies when report cards came out.  This is the result of Grace's sugar consumption.  She said "take pictures of me ".
Then she wanted me to video her "monkey" dance, which I've never seen before.

April extras outside

We had too many extras in April.  I had to break them up into inside & outside.  The kids would much rather be outside than inside but are pretty good at entertaining themselves wherever they are.

Grace looks so grown up to me sitting there.
I was excited that she finally fit into these sandals.
Our favorite babysitter and Harrison's good friend's family moved to Colorado.  We went to say a sad goodbye.

week of the young child

Grace's preschool celebrated the week of the young child ( I didn't realize there was one) by having the kids do fun things everyday. Grace loves being silly so this was a really fun week for her.
The first day was mixed up day.  Grace was a bunny cheerleader fairy.  Harrison wanted to pose with her in just the cheerleader outfit because he was born in Pennsylvania and thinks it's the greatest place in the world.  I love the unintentional bunny ears he has.
The next day was crazy hat day.  We just clipped a bunch of her hair bows on the hat.  Grace thought that was great.
the whole three year old class after their crazy hat parade
The next day was wear your favorite color.  Grace said rainbow was her favorite color, even though she always says pink is her favorite.  Ironically, pink wasn't a color in her dress so she posed by pink flowers for the picture.
The last day was crazy sock day.  Grace picked her troll socks because, she said, trolls are crazy.
We sure love our young child!

report cards

The third marking period ended April 1st but report cards didn't come out until the 19th.  Once again, the boys received all As & Bs!  As a reward for their good grades, we took the kids to play miniature golf and then got a treat.
(FYI Grace had gotten her face painted at the park earlier in the day.)
Also, I'm happy to report that Harrison read every school day during the third nine weeks.  These are the books he read along with the prize he got for doing it.  Leo chose not to participate this time.
Keep up the good work!
