May extras

Harrison giving his teachers gifts for teacher appreciation day.  He loves his teachers and so do I!
Harrison and his bus driver wore the same shirts one day.
Train expo at the community center next to our house.   I took Leo while Harrison was at karate and we ran into Lizzie while we were there.  Buzz Lightyear enjoyed it too.
Leo loves to do flips and tricks on the trampoline.  One day he had been doing flips for about thirty minutes or so and then asked me to start counting how many flips he did.  I only counted the flip if he didn't use his hands and his head didn't touch.  He ended with 101!!
 Harrison isn't in to flipping....yet.

May color days

May's color days were purple, yellow and brown.  Harrison had a field trip on orange day and had to wear his class shirt.  He didn't go to school on red day because he had pink eye.

Leo's last day of preschool

Leo's preschool program was pretty cute and also a little bittersweet.  The kids sang several songs and then the teachers presented paper plate awards and their certificate.   I had some worries when Leo started in September but he did really well.  Overall, it was a great first school experience for Leo.
After the program they had a picnic with a few games.
We received a little book about Leo throughout the school year.  According to that, Leo gained six pound and two inches from September to May.  His favorite color (green) stayed the same but his favorite toys and food changed.  It was also pretty neat seeing how much his hand had grown during the school year.
Leo's Al's Pals program was the next day.  The whole theme is that each child is special, a star.  Leo had to get up and say what makes him special.  He said that his snakes make him special.
This class teaches with puppets and Leo loves them.
And this was his very last carpool....

Leo's field day

Leo had a great time doing all the activities at field day.  He had tons of fun with his preschool friends!
That's a water balloon coming toward him.
He wanted a snake painted on his face.
Each child received a medal from their teachers.

strawberries & campfire dinner

It's a fun day when you can drive your car on a boat, cross a river, play in a strawberry field while eating strawberries, eat ice cream, have another ferry ride and then meet friends at their campsite for dinner.
 throwing bread to the seagulls
Harrison has some long legs.
I love Leo's face above and Harrison's face below.
We finished picking strawberries and headed to the woods for dinner.
All it takes to entertain these kids are sticks, each other and room to run.
And here's the strawberry pie we made with some of our harvest.
