August extras

After our big trip at the beginning of the month, we didn't do too many extra things other than trying to stay cool.

Harrison had his eyes dilated for the first time ever at his eye exam.

Look how big his pupils are and how many freckles he has.

Grace being cute as usual.

Leo finally finished his summer workbook and got his prize.

Leo also got a new haircut (that he wanted).  He asked me to take some pictures of him posing.  Grace joined him trying to mimic his poses.

playing at the pool

Grace got splashed.

Since my sister moved closer, she's been able to come swimming with us twice.

Grace, the goggles thief

so much fun, so little time left

backflip

My sister came for a few days last week and helped Leo work on his backflip.

He's done about 100 backflips since then.

party at the pool

Leo & Lizzie have been friends since they were about 18 months old.

Last year we thought it would be fun if they had a joint birthday pool party since Lizzie has a January birthday and Leo's is in March. Well, it finally happened. Leo loved it and had a blast.

some of Leo's gifts

Of course there was lots of fun in the pool.

Another reason to celebrate, another reason for fun, another time for friends, another party done!
