One of the beauties of a trip like this is that the kids get a lot of one-on-one time, whether with Jeff, me, cousins, aunts or uncles. We created some great memories with some special people.
Jeff took Harrison fishing three times. Harrison caught the only fish big enough to eat and boy, was he proud! Harrison also caught a crab trap with two little crabs in it when they were fishing on the boat.
Leo found a kindred spirit in Papa Cheeks. They both love wrestling. They did moves, named wrestlers' theme songs, watched wrestling and tested each other's knowledge about it.

Because there were so many people around, Gracie could be outside, swing on the front porch, feed the birds, have a book read to her and get a piggy-back ride pretty much whenever she wanted.
Harrison tried to trick me into thinking that he caught a fish by hooking a puffer fish that had already washed ashore.
Leo had a few special outings with Aunt Becky.
I woke up every morning and took a walk on the beach by myself right before sunrise. I could see fishing boats in the distance. Hardly anyone was out and it was so peaceful. Watching the sun rise everyday was good for my soul.
I ran across some interesting things on my walk. (jellyfish, driftwood, horseshoe crabs, shells, rusted metal, dead fish, a dead bird and a hard hat)
This path led from our house to the beach. It was a beautiful little walk before getting to the sand dune.
Of course we made many memories that I don't post about, some good, some bad. But, all in all, it was another wonderful Thanksgiving week. I'll end with Jeff taking the boys to play miniature golf. They both ended up getting a hole-in-one.
This video is classic Leo when things don't turn out the way he wants. It's also how I feel about returning to real life.
