We celebrated the day Grace's adoption was finalized (December 11, 2018) with as much of what she wanted to do as possible on a school day.
She decided on doughnuts for breakfast and got to open her present.
Grace had been using Harrison's old tablet, which broke this summer. She's been wanting a new one since then. When she saw her adoption day present, she looked at me and said, "Is this a dream?".
Grace was so happy and excited for her present and for the day that she wanted to look fancy by wearing her pearl necklace, pearl earrings and pearls in her hair!
She wanted a happy meal at McDonalds for dinner and to play there. Wish granted!
Grace adds so much to our family. She continually surprises us with how much she knows and what she can do. The sky is the limit for this girl! A few days after her adoption day, Grace was at gymnastics. The teacher kept her after class to test her skills and then came and told me that Grace was moving up to the next level. She said that Grace is a natural and has so much potential. I shared that Grace is adopted and that her amazing potential is in her DNA. The teacher said she could tell. Adoption is ultimately about love and Grace is loved more than she could ever comprehend by so many. 💖
