We started a new tradition with the
It's a vending machine that lets you pick what you would like to give someone in need. Leo picked a homeless kit. Grace picked school supplies.
Harrison picked a bedding set and I picked diapers.
After the giving machine, we went to a live nativity at the zoo (a first for the kids). It was a whole program about the birth of Christ and then an opportunity to meet the animals after.
It's not Cindy Lou Who, but my dad has been calling Grace "Sally Sue Sunshine" since she was a baby. She was thrilled to see her nickname on one of the ornaments he sends to the kids every year.
