Each of the kids had their own advent calendar this year.

Because of Harrison, we rode a Christmas train for the first time. His Boy Scout troop helped serve hot chocolate and cookies to the train passengers on the military base.
The next day we showed up without tickets (because they were sold out) just in case of a cancellation. Miraculously, six seats all together were open. It was a lot of fun even though it was pouring rain.

We sang Christmas carols, met Santa and the train conductor and the kids got goodie bags.

One of our favorite Christmas things to do is walk around the fountain with all the decorations and singing Christmas tree. Every year they have different things to do.

One of the gifts we gave the kids this year was passes to the amusement park. Grace had not wanted to see Santa until we went to the Christmas part of the amusement park. She was too shy to go by herself so Harrison went with her.

Part of the Christmas party at my office was going to an escape room. My team won!

Harrison made a blanket for an elderly lady at church who has cancer.
