Every year, each of the 38 schools in our city select student artwork to be displayed at the cultural arts center. Leo had a piece chosen last year and again this year.
As with last year, Leo didn't know which piece of art he created in art class had been chosen. Once again, he said that if he had known that it was being considered for display, he would have added to it or done some of it differently. I thought it was perfect.

One of Leo's best friends from a different school also had a piece of art chosen for this show. Unknowingly, they both drew leaves.
After the art show we went to a very cold outdoor winter carnival.
And we ran into another friend.
Because it was too cold to eat there, I took Leo & Grace to the McDonalds across the street where they could play on the indoor playground. We had our own experience the same day Harrison had his.
