July 19, 2012, the day Harrison's adoption was finalized. We didn't have to go to court for this. Our attorney submitted everything to the judge, he signed it and then it was mailed to us. It was a little anti-climatic considering what it took to get to this point. Regardless, this is a day we celebrate Harrison and his very big and important place in our family.
Harrison was in Texas for his adoption day for the second year in a row. My mom made sure to make him feel special.

I ordered new boots for him and sent Legos with my mom. She also gave him a Texas hat. He was thrilled with all of it!

Since this was his day, he spent it doing things that he loves. He went fishing, cut down tree limbs, drove the tractor and the four wheeler and put together his Legos, of course.

This awesome kid had an awesome day!

These days always make me a little emotional as I think about everyone who's life has been touched by Harrison's birth and adoption. The love we all have for Harrison continues to multiply. We are so proud to call him our son!
