This year I wanted to take our family picture before Thanksgiving. The boys weren't exactly onboard but reluctantly participated. I always forget how many pictures it takes to get five people looking the same direction with eyes open and smiles on faces.

I am so thankful to have these moments, even when they might be difficult. I'm thankful my friend, Debbie could take the pictures. And, I'm thankful that now we don't have to worry about family pictures at the beach and can just have fun!
It's days like this that remind me to enjoy every second with these kids, who were just a dream in my heart for so long.
