Our trip to Texas started out with a four hour flight delay, barely making our connection and our luggage not arriving with us. Harrison and Grace were troopers and did remarkable well with all of it.
On our first morning in Texas, we were welcomed by a rattle snake.

Papa Ronnie put up the swing he originally made for Harrison and Leo. Grace loved it!

The kids helped Nanny Glo pick the last of the fruits of her garden.

Driving the Ranger was one of the highlights of the trip for Harrison.

We got stuck on one of our Ranger rides and had to use the wench to get un-stuck.

Another highlight for the kids was my mom's new dog, Sugar. The kids were obsessed with her.

Harrison helped make a grave marker for their old dog.

We took Grace to the splash park and playground one day while Harrison & Papa Ronnie went fishing.

Harrison's very favorite thing while we were in Texas was fishing! He and Papa Ronnie went out on the lake nearly every day we were there (but never took even one picture). They caught over 100 fish, only kept about a third, and we ate several of those.

Harrison became quite good at helping clean the fish and helping with that whole process.
