When Parks & Rec finally opened back up (after nearly a year) I registered the kids for classes as quickly as I could. Grace went back to gymnastics. Leo went back to gymnastics and Harrison took an art class for the first time. Their classes came to an end this week.
Grace loved everything about gymnastics: the outfits, the hair, the running, flipping and jumping. She also really loved Jeff taking her to most of the classes.
Harrison enjoyed everything he did in his art class. He did different projects each week with different materials and techniques. He always stayed after class to help his teacher clean up.
His Eiffel Tower project used glow in the dark paint.
This is NOT a mermaid tail. It's a merMAN tail haha. Harrison said the turkey was his favorite creation.
Leo's gymnastics experience was quite different than Grace's. Parents were not allowed to watch and the kids were not allowed to use the equipment (trampoline, bars, etc.) all because of covid. Leo was super disappointed about that. He stuck it out though and said he felt stronger because of gymnastics. Soccer is next for the boys and Grace will continue gymnastics after a little break. Thank goodness for this return to normalcy!
