On our way to Connecticut we made a slight detour in Pennsylvania and stopped at Legoland. The boys didn't know we were going there until we pulled up. They were almost at Christmas morning level excitement when they realized where we were.
Nearly everything was made out of Legos. It was Lego overload and we definitely needed more than three hours to experience it all. Leo's favorite was the Lego pirate ship.
They did a workshop where they showed you step-by-step how to make certain things.
Another fun thing we did while we were in Connecticut was go to one of the children's museums that we took the boys to this summer. It was a hit then and it was a hit this time. We happened to be there during animal feeding time and they let the kids help.
We found a lizard named Leo.
They had a fun winter play area.
How cute is Grace in this sled! Leo didn't want to be upstaged.
