It rained a lot this week but when it wasn't raining, the boys were eager to get outside and "help" any way they could. Splitting wood was a first for Harrison and Leo got to "drive" the tractor for the first time.
After splitting the wood, dumping it in the trailer and hauling it to the barn, Harrison then had to cut it some more with his chainsaw while it was being stacked.
Both of the boys also got to help with mowing.
Harrison loves their little dog and is always trying to pet her and make her do tricks. Here she's giving him five.
Leo, on the other hand, was terrified of their dog when we got here but has gotten over most of the fear.
We made frozen bananas treats.
Being pushed in the wheelbarrow is fun for Leo, not so much for me.
We took a boat ride out on the lake. Harrison didn't want his picture taken.
The boys are really having fun playing in this washtub in their underwear. For the last two nights, Harrison has asked to take his bath in it.
The most exciting thing that happened this week was that a bird flew into the house when we opened the door. Leo is still talking about it and reenacting the events. That bird was exhausted from frantically flying around trying to get out so it sat on top of that picture until a net was retrieved from the barn. None of the parties involved were injured.
