It was Grace's big day. She picked cinnamon powdered donuts for breakfast and got to open a few gifts before school.
To make the day even more special, field day was rescheduled for Grace's birthday. It rained on the day that field day was originally scheduled, so they did an abbreviated makeup one.
I joined her for lunch with her chicken nugget happy meal.
Grace handed out birthday treats to her class at school and gymnastics. It was a day filled with things that she loves: donuts, school, field day, chicken nuggets, gymnastics and gifts!
Two days later, Grace had her party. We had 8 girls (5 spent the night and 3 went home at 9 PM). It was loud and silly and crazy and they all had a great time, especially Grace.
They did crafts, made smores, played in the tent, jumped on the trampoline and rode the zipline for hours.
Grace's party was everything she wanted it to be and more. It was definitely an unforgettable eighth birthday!
