When Harrison made All City Band at the end of last year, we knew there would be a performance in January. What we didn't know is that there would only be two rehearsals, totaling about nine hours, to learn new music and form a cohesive band consisting of students from eight different middle schools.
They played: "Terracotta" arr. W. Owens
"Fighting Falcon March" by T. Stalter
"Epic" by L. Clark
I thought they sounded amazing, especially considering how quickly they had to learn each piece.
We couldn't see Harrison at all from where we were sitting.
The neighborhood grandparents came to support him.
another proud moment
