We try to let the kids' birthdays be all about them as much as possible and Grace's birthday was no exception. She wanted to open presents as soon as she woke up, so she did.
She wanted doughnuts and chocolate milk for breakfast so that's what she got.
Then she had gymnastics, which was fine with her because she loves it. They gave her a balloon since it was her birthday.
Then she wanted a happy meal for lunch and to go to the trampoline park, so that's what we did.
That evening we went to a cookout where everyone sang to her (including two dogs that were there) and she got to play with a bunch of kids.
Grace brough treats for her whole class the next school day
and got to pick out a book to keep.
