The kids had a day off school and Jeff had a day off work so we went to the farm. All the animals were fun to look at, but chasing the peacocks is the real fun for some reason.
The barns were closed but the playground was open!
We just happened to be by the pond when the workers were feeding the ducks and geese. They let the kids help.
After Grace's nap, we all went to Chuck E. Cheese. Hardly anyone was there and the kids had a ball!
It's so nice having a bonus day off. We talked about why we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. day and I was pretty impressed with the boys' answers. It was a good reminder to always be considerate, treat everyone with respect and to stand up for what is right.
