First of all, I can't believe Harrison is six!! We always spend the days leading up to his birthday talking about his birth and everything surrounding it. It's an emotional time for me for many reasons. We're so fortunate to have been blessed with Harrison in our family!
Harrison started off his birthday morning with monkey bread for breakfast (as requested) and a visit from Ms. Karen.

He also got to open up a few presents before school.
What kid asks for new underwear and his own first aid kit?
Harrison was excited to go to school and tell everyone that it was his birthday. He told me "this is what a six-year-old looks like". It was pajama day at Leo's school.
I brought Harrison lunch at school (He wanted a kids meal from Wendy's.) and brownies for his class that he helped me make. He got to hand out the treats and everyone sang happy birthday to him. He felt very important and special!
When everyone got back home, Harrison got to open the rest of his gifts....lots of Legos!
Leo helped put all the Lego people together. He's holding a ninja.
That night Harrison had a Christmas program at his school with Jeff and I took Leo to literacy night at his school.
